Your roads are actually tiny, when an A3 is hard to keep in a lane, it’s small. Forget the truck in front of me literally touching both lines.

My step-father is Mormon and sister converted to Mormon-ism (ye’, she still drinks alcohol and coffee, but hey), and the common ones are, ‘your roads are narrow, there are too many corners, your cars too small, etc...’.

Our roads haven’t changed muchwhile in the last 30+ years our cars have got 30% bigger. But to widen all the roads in the U.K., the cost would be immense, even changing the road signs when Europe tried making us go metric was massive.

I’m not saying they’re too small, but they are small. It is daunting for someone who has never driven on the left before to drive on the other side of the road.

My last name is Moorman, yes it’s English and I’m not a Mormon. If I had a dollar for everyone that has asked, I would probably have an M5.

No, ye’, they are small.

Try driving around the Last District, bushes and trees encroaching into the road, which were already too narrow for modern day vehicles.

Take Wrynose Pass, here in Cumbria, you look at oncoming cars as a challenge after a while.

Have you tried telli ng them your name is ‘moorman’ pronounced the U.K. way of ‘moo-er-man’.

I drove on some roads in Scotland where my small car felt massive.

My family pronounces it “ more- man” So pretty close to that.

There are some roads such as the east coast road to Perth, where the road is predominantly average but moments of touching cloth where the road na rrows or has a sharp bend and your doing 60+mph.
